Babies are Heaven!

I am so so so thankful that Heavenly Father has allowed choice spirits to come into our home! It is so fun to have children and to be a mother. When Jane was born, I kept telling myself  "I can't wait until she is 3 months, 6 months, 10 months, one year" because she would be more fun and easier the older she got. She was my first and I think your first is the hardest. But my mom gave me some great advice when Jane was a baby. She told me to enjoy each stage, that she didn't do this and she has regretted it and always wanted us to grow up so fast. I have really thought about that and have really tried to enjoy each stage with our little cute and fun Ali. It has made a difference to just stop and enjoy whatever stage she is in, because it does not last long. So, I savored this moment as I held and rocked Ali before I put her down for her nap. As I watched her eyes roll back in her head over and over I just soaked up the moment! To see your child peacefully doze off without a care in the world is the best feeling ever.

Ali is 6 months old in this picture and I have loved and learned from these past 6 months with her in our home!
